When you talk about Country Soul Music it's the history and the sound that confirms this unique genre as the bedrock got Country Music.
Vicki Vann grew up in Southern California, the mecca of Hollywood yet this young lady fell in love with country music at an early age. Vicki's father was one of the founding members of the world renowned gospel music group The Mighty Clouds Of Joy.
Vicki grew up watching her father wow audiences and soon she caught the entertainment bug and she started performing. Vicki's found her love for music while going to school and from elementary all the way into college Vicki was always involved in the arts and school performances. It wasn't long before Vicki had set her eyes on Nashville and in June of 1998 she took a trip to "Music City USA" to record her first music demo. and in country music allowed her to write and to perform with her own style, making for a beautiful personalized sound.
Over the years Vicki has performed around the country and has made trips to Nashville where she has recorded music with top tier producers at some of the best studios in the nation.
Vicki and her band have produced and released 5 independent CD's of great country soul music. Each album of music demonstrates Vicki's range when it comes to her creative and soulful selections. Vicki has also recorded an amazing country holiday song titled "If We Make It Through December"
Vicki Vann is a true pioneer and entrepreneur at heart, she even owns her own liquor brand called Araceli Spirits. This liquor is one of a kind in the world and is the first ever spirit made from the Marigold flower. Araceli Marigold Liqueur (araceliliqueur.com)
